How much does a feature wall cost?
Honest answer: it depends on the wall. Here’s what affects the price of a feature wall or media wall in London — and how we put together a clear, itemised quote after seeing your space.
Seven things that decide the cost
No two walls are the same. These are the factors we look at when we quote.
Size of the wall
The main driver. A small alcove or headboard wall is a very different job from a 5-metre living room wall or a double-height stairwell.
Material and finish
Felt, primed panelling, veneered slats and stone-effect panels all cost differently. Real wood veneers and specialist finishes cost more than primed or painted options.
Ceiling height and access
Tall walls, stairs and ceilings need towers or extra hands. Easy access and parking keep things simple; central London restrictions add time.
Cut-outs and details
Windows, doors, sockets, switches, radiators and corners all take time to cut and finish properly — this is where fitting quality shows.
Condition of the wall
Very uneven or damaged walls may need packing, battens or repairs before panels go up.
Extras
LED lighting, floating shelves, TV and fire recesses, storage and painting are priced separately so you can choose.
Supply only or fitted
If you’re confident with DIY we can supply panels with a layout plan; most clients choose supplied and fitted for a professional finish.

Ways to keep the cost down
Standard heights
Panels that match your wall height avoid joins and waste.
One great wall
One full feature wall usually beats several half-done ones.
Fewer cut-outs
Choosing a wall with fewer sockets and windows saves fitting time.
Combine jobs
Doing several walls or rooms together is more efficient.
How much does a feature wall cost in London?
It depends on the size of the wall, the material and the details — so we don’t publish a price list. Send us a photo with rough measurements, we’ll look at the space and send a clear, itemised quote.
Do you charge for a quote?
No. Quotes are free and there’s no obligation.
Why can’t you give a price over the phone?
Two walls of the same size can be very different jobs once you factor in sockets, windows, ceiling height, wall condition and access. Seeing the wall means the quote is accurate and there are no surprises on fitting day.
Is it cheaper to fit panels myself?
Supply-only costs less up front. Professional fitting pays off on uneven walls, around sockets and windows, and where you want built-in details like LED lighting or shelving.
What’s included in a fitted price?
Our quotes are itemised: panels and materials, fitting, cut-outs, trims and finishing, clean-up and waste removal, plus any extras you choose such as LED lighting.
How can I keep the cost down?
Choose a standard panel size that fits your wall height, keep cut-outs to a minimum, consider a half-height or single-wall design, and combine the work with other jobs we’re doing for you.
